| Hi! We are Andy
& Sonia Stafford. We live near Jacksonville,
Florida, USA. We moved to the
USA in May 1999. Our previous home was in
the United Kingdom - a town called
Basingstoke about 40 miles West of
London. We moved here because Andy had it in his blood - and Sonia had it in her blood to follow him! We got married in December 1998, both having previously been married. We each have two children and Sonia has four grandchildren, the last (Caitlin May) being born in April 2001. When we first came to the USA, we lived in the Sacramento area of California. In February 2000 we moved into a brand new house in the city of Folsom. It was a long wait, the house finally being completed three months late. Andy was working for a computer software company in Folsom but unfortunately he got laid off just 8 weeks after we moved into the house. The next few weeks were a traumatic time for us but, thankfully, he was approached by another company and got a new job. He then worked in Elk Grove, to the south of Sacramento. In the early part of 2003, Andy's company approached him and asked if we'd be willing to relocate to another office. After giving the option some consideration, we elected to move to Jacksonville. A trip to the area in March 2003 was successful in finding a new home and we actually moved in on April 14th! Sonia's role nowadays is that of home-maker and she's doing a great job! Our family was extended in January 2001 when we were joined by Chico, our Long-Haired Chihuahua. Sonia had long yearned to own a chihuahua and Chico has been a great companion to us both! Andy's interests are Amateur (Ham) Radio, Photography, Fishing, Golf and Computers. Sonia's interests are Spiritualism (including Spiritual Healing), Gardening and Native Americans. We both have a love for the Great Outdoors with an appreciation for both beautiful scenery and the flora and fauna that grace it. Click here to make an entry in our Guest Book! |
